Pineapple Sorbet


Pineapple (Peeled and chopped) - 2 cups
Sugar - 8 to 10 tbsp

Water - 1/2 cup
Half Lemon (Optional)


Blend the chopped pineapple in a blender. Add 8 tbsp of sugar and water to it and run the blender again until smooth.  Squeeze in half a lemon if you like it tangy.
Make sure you taste the mixture at this stage. You may add more sugar if needed and blend agan.(Remember that ripe pineapples taste sweeter)
Chill the mixture thoroughly in the freezer for an hour or so.
Remove it from the freezer and gently crush it with a knife or a spoon. Then refreeze it in in a mould you like.It would take around 3-4 hours for the sorbet to set nicely.
